June 4: Very strong demand was witnessed for G13 (GCV between 3,400 and 3,700 Kcal/kg) grade coal offered on the e-auctions platform of coaljunction during May 2014 as the entire offering of 340,000 tons got allotted during the month. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,053/ton.
However, in April, this grade of coal was not offered for allotment.
