November 23: Very strong demand was witnessed in October 2015 for grade G13 (GCV 3,401 to 3,700 Kcal/kg) coal as the entire offered quantity of 310,000 tons on the MSTC platform by CIL subsidiaries got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,578 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of demand was witnessed in September 2015 for grade G13 coal as the entire offered quantity of 505,000 tons on the MSTC platform by CIL subsidiaries got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,414 per ton.
However, G13 grade was not offered in July and August, 2015 by CIL subsidiaries for allotment through MSTC, as per data available with ICMW.
