December 8: Very strong demand was witnessed in the e-auction of G14 grade coal (GCV of 3,101 to 3,400 Kcal/kg) on the coaljunction platform in November 2015 as the entire offering of 200,000 tons by SECL got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 915 per ton, according to data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of demand was witnessed in in October 2015 as the entire offering of 250,000 tons by SECL had got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,397 per ton.
In September too, strong demand had been seen for this grade on coaljunction as the entire offering of 150,000 tons by SECL had got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,328 per ton.
