Very strong demand was witnessed in the e-auction of G16 (GCV between 2,501 and 2,801 Kcal/kg) on the coaljunction platform in December 2015 as the entire offering of 300,000 tons by SECL got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 735 per ton, according to data available with ICMW.
However, there were no offerings of G16 grades of coal on the e-auction platform of coaljunction in October and November, 2015
