September 27: A strong demand was witnessed for washery grade (W2, W3 & W4) coking coal offered by Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) and Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) for allotment through MSTC platform during the month of August 2013.
During August 2013, a total of 74,300 tons of coking coal was offered for allotment out of which the entire quantity got allotted at a premium ranging from 0-107%.
However, During July 2013, a total of 152,650 tons of coking coal was offered for allotment out of which the entire quantity got allotted at a premium ranging from 0.43-98.9%.
The entire offering made during the month of August was meant for delivery by road mode.
