January 30: A weak demand was witnessed in December 2014 for G16 grade (GCV 2,501 to 2,800 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries as out of the offered quantity of 45,000 tons, 15,640 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 732 per ton.
However, during the previous month, this grade was not offered for allotment via this platform.
