India capable of meeting its coal demands internally: Union secy

Union coal secretary Anil Kumar Jain on Tuesday claimed that India’s coal-producing companies were capable of meeting the country's domestic coal requirment.

Jain, who addressed the third edition of Jharkhand Mining Conclave which was organised by the state chapter of Confede of Confederate of Indian Industries (CII) at a city hotel here, claimed that the recent coal crisis nationally unlocke the potential of India’s domestic coal production.
