UltraTech Cement earmarks Rs 10,000 cr capex for FY26

UltraTech Cement has earmarked Rs 10,000 crore for capital
expenditure during 2025-26 (FY26) to push expansion projects both in
capacity and renewable energy sources, according to a
BSE filing.
“The blueprint for the next phase of growth. It is
getting stitched and ready and we will present it to our Board before the end
of this calendar or worst case, before the end of this financial year, we will
come back with the next phase of organic growth,” said Atul Daga, CFO.
Further, the cement maker has planned to
increase the overall share of green energy in its total energy mix to 85
percent by 2030.
Currently, the Company has 691 MW of green energy capacity,
which includes 262 MW of WHRS installed capacity and 429 MW of contracted
renewable energy. Cumulatively, this translates to about 22% of UltraTech’s
current energy requirements.
The company’s consolidated
domestic grey cement capacity now stands at 186.86 mtpa. Along with its
overseas capacity of 5.4 mtpa, the company’s global cement capacity stands at
192.26 mtpa.
